It's just like me: light at first, then intoxicating and lingering.

I'm on fire. It's never boring with me; I can't stand still. I love movement, dancing, the taste of life, and moments I want to remember.

I'm a virologist. I work at a research center in Rotterdam, where I study blood-borne viruses and their vectors: Zika, Dengue, and Chikungunya.

Despite the seriousness of my profession, I don't live solely by science.
My home and my parents are important to me.
I'm not one of those people who are "sharpened" to one profession. I enjoy learning, traveling, and trying new things, because life shouldn't be all about work.

My motto is simple:
"I choose to feel, to burn, and to be real."

Dancing is my passion, especially bachata.
It has everything I value, freedom, energy, and connection.
When I dance, I feel the rhythm of life and sense that my body and soul finally speak the same language.

I’m also a volunteer at an animal shelter.
It’s probably one of the kindest things I do for myself, because by helping them, I become softer and more human.

I also love planting vegetables with my mom.
It makes me happy to see how something small grows and gives its first fruits, there’s something magical about that simple patience.

And yes… I enjoy the shooting range.
My grandfather was a hunter and taught me how to shoot when I was a child.
Don’t worry, I don’t carry a weapon with me, lol. But I can shoot with my eyes, and trust me, that can be just as dangerous 😉

You can be different, quiet, reserved, or with a light sense of humor that softens any silence. The main thing is that you are alive, genuine, and unafraid to feel.
